Outervention is a non-profit organization that counsels inner-city girls in wilderness situations.
The logo illustrates a leaf and a hand becoming one. The stem
of the leaf is the thumb, and
the veins become the palm print.
This reinforces the fact that nature, and an enriching experience, is attainable for these young women.
